## Create a report in Report Studio in Medrecords AI

Report Studio in Medrecords AI is where you create reports from a case, such as an IME review or a demand summary. You pick a case, a report type and a template, and the app writes a cited draft. A new report costs 100 credits, and that includes 1 verification check. You then edit, sign and download it.

### Create a report

1. Press **Report studio** in the side menu.
2. Press **New report** . The case must have finished processing.
3. Pick the **Case** and the **Report type** .
4. Check the **Template** . Your default shows first. Pick another if you like. See [set up report templates](https://medrecords.ai/help/tasks/templates/).
5. Pick the **Coverage** : "Medical-legal" or "Medical only".
6. Read the cost line at the bottom. It shows the price and your balance.
7. Press **Generate** .

You can make 1 report at a time per case. Wait for it to finish before you start the next one.

For a **Rebuttal** report, you upload the other side's document first. The button then shows the full cost. Reading that document costs 1 credit per page, on top of the report.

### Find your reports

The Report studio page groups reports by case. Use the tabs **All** , **Ready** and **Generating** , or search by report or case name. Each row has a PDF download button.

### Edit the report

Open a report. Switch between **Viewing** and **Editing** at the top.

- Type changes straight into the text.
- Turn on **Track changes** to see your edits.
- Select text and press **Add Comment** to leave a note.
- Select text and press **Rewrite with AI** to rewrite it from the case records. Review it, then press **Accept & insert** or **Discard** . Each rewrite costs 10 credits.
- In the **Refine** tab, write feedback and press **Submit for AI Refinement** . Earlier versions are listed under **Previous revisions** , with **Restore this version** .
- Press **Save** when you are done.

### Check the report

Press **Run Verification and Cross-Examination** .

| Result | What it means |
| --- | --- |
| Supported | The records back the claim |
| Unsupported | No record backs the claim |
| Contradicted | A record says something different |
| Not checked | The claim was not tested |

A second tab lists likely lines of attack, rated High, Medium or Low. You can download both as PDFs. They are never attached to the report.

The first run is included with the report. Each run after that costs 50 credits. With **Auto-refine report** on, unsupported claims are fixed in the report text. It is on by default.

### Sign and download

1. Press **Attest and sign** . You need to upload your signature first. Otherwise you see "Signature required".
2. Press **Download PDF** or **Download DOCX** .

You can still edit after you sign. Press **Attest again** to sign the new version.
