## Watch a billing ledger tie every charge to its bill

Medrecords AI reads the bills in a case into 1 ledger, removes duplicate charges before the total and ties each row to its source page. Click a charge and the bill opens at that line; group by provider for subtotals; export the ledger as CSV. This demo runs on an invented case.

35 seconds, with voiceover. The numbered list below follows the video, and the transcript is the narration.

### What the video shows

1. **Every charge in 1 ledger.** The Billing Ledger tab shows 7 charges from 4 providers, $7,910.00 billed, with 1 duplicate removed before the total. Each row has its source page, date of service, description, provider, and billed and paid amounts.
2. **Click a charge.** The MRI charge is selected and the bill beside the ledger scrolls to page 134, the Harbor Point Imaging statement, with that line highlighted.
3. **Group by provider.** The flat list turns into 4 provider headings, each with its charge count and subtotal, such as $4,400.00 for Summit County Hospital.
4. **Export CSV.** case_4821_billing_ledger.csv downloads: every charge across 28 columns, each tied to its source page.

### Why each charge opens its bill

Billed totals get challenged 1 line at a time. When a charge opens on the bill it came from, with the line highlighted, nobody has to page through a 212-page file to back up a number. Removing duplicates before the total keeps the same charge from being counted twice.

### Transcript

1. Every charge, tied to the bill it came from.
2. The billing ledger pulls every charge from the bills into 1 table and removes duplicates from the total. Each row shows the page it came from.
3. Click any charge and the bill opens at that exact line, so you can check it yourself.
4. Group by provider to see how many charges each one billed, with a subtotal.
5. Then export a CSV: every charge, 28 columns, each tied to its source page.
6. Each charge links to its bill. Export as CSV.

Every name, provider and date in the demo is invented. No real patient data appears in the video.
