## Watch the case assistant answer and cite in 20 seconds

The Medrecords AI case assistant answers questions about a case in plain English, shows the searches it ran and cites each sentence. This demo asks an invented case about work restrictions and adds the answer to a report.

20 seconds, no sound. The numbered list below follows the video, and the transcript repeats its on-screen text.

### What the video shows

1. **Ask in a thread.** The question is "What work restrictions were given after the collision?", answered in Clinical Synthesis mode.
2. **Watch the search.** The trace shows each step: a case overview, "work restrictions" with 7 results, Maple Ridge with 4 and the period around 03/14/2025 with 9. When the answer arrives, the trace folds into 4 steps.
3. **Read the answer.** 3 cited sentences: light duty with no lifting over 10 lb on 03/21/2025 [1], no overhead reaching on 04/09/2025 [2], and the restrictions extended 4 weeks on 05/16/2025 [3].
4. **Add it to a report.** Select the answer and attach it as an appendix, embed it or regenerate it. Here it is attached to the Record Review. The layout keeps chronology, assistant and narrative side by side.

### Why the search steps are shown

An answer is easier to trust when you can see where the assistant looked. The trace lists each search and how many results it found, so a missing source is obvious. Restrictions also change over time, and the 3 cited dates show the sequence instead of only the latest instruction.

### Transcript

1. Start a thread and ask the case in plain English.
2. Watch each search step run, then read the cited answer.
3. Select the answer and add it to a report.
4. Chronology, assistant and narrative, side by side.

Every name, provider and date in the demo is invented. No real patient data appears in the video.
