Content Selection Filters let a reviewer include or exclude entire document categories — legal records, nursing notes, billing, and more — from the chronology and report independently, without re-processing the case. Nothing removed from a report is deleted from the underlying case, and any category switches back on with the same toggle.

Content Selection Filters group the whole document set into categories — legal records, nursing notes, billing, progress notes, imaging, and more — so a reviewer can include or exclude an entire category with one toggle instead of removing documents one at a time.
The chronology and the report can disagree — on purpose.
A category can stay visible in the working chronology while it's excluded from the report that goes out the door, or the other way around. Filtering doesn't touch the underlying case, so flipping a toggle doesn't trigger a re-run — the next generated output just reflects the new selection.

Most tools make you choose once, at intake, what stays in the file — or force a full re-run every time a category needs to come out of one output but not another. Content Selection Filters treat the case as fixed and the outputs as adjustable, so a report can be narrower than the chronology behind it without anything being deleted.
