About this directory
Legal nurse consultants read a medical record before a lawyer or an adjuster does. They screen it for merit, build the chronology, flag what is missing and say what the care actually was.
Every row is a name, a credential, a specialty and a location. Where a consultant publishes a site of their own, the row links to it. No phone number and no email address is shown here; Request contact on a row reaches them through us.
A consultant whose name appears on more than one public roster is 1 row, not a repeated entry.
What is not here
Certified case managers hold a different credential and do a different job, so that register is not folded in. Neither are the officers of review-organisation trade bodies, who are not consultants for hire.
Nothing here is a referral or a ranking. The order is alphabetical, and a listing says only that the name is on a public roster.

How this list was built
Rows were read off 4 public rosters: 2 certifying-body member locators and 2 expert-listing categories. Legal nurse consulting is a certification, not a licence, so no state or federal register of it exists. A consultant named on more than one roster is merged to a single row. The certifying body's own locator was read again in September 2026, which is where the certification expiry dates and metro areas come from.
Names were normalised and merged to 1 row per listee. The rows carry name, credential, specialty and location, and the listee’s own site where they publish one. No phone number and no email address is published here, and no row links to the listing it came off.

Rows that carried no public link were looked up in NPPES, the national provider registry CMS publishes. A row was only given the number when exactly 1 provider of that name was registered in that state and the work they registered to do fits this list, so a planner who shares a name with a chiropractor in the same state keeps no number at all. 276 of 2,656 listings now carry one, and the link on those rows opens the government record. NPPES publishes a telephone number on every record; it is not read here.
