What is in this list
An IME physician examines a claimant at the request of somebody other than the treating side, and writes an opinion that has to survive being read against the file. The credential and specialty on each row are recorded as published.
3 state workers' compensation authorities publish their evaluator rosters in full, and this list carries all 3, which is why California, New York and Texas account for most of the rows. Everywhere else it is a curated slice rather than a census, because no equivalent public roster exists to read.
A listing is not a recommendation, no phone number and no email address is shown; Request contact on a row reaches them through us. The order is not a ranking.
Why record review reaches IME physicians
An examination lasts an hour; the file behind it runs to hundreds of pages. The examiner has to know what was treated, in what order, and where the treating notes and the claimant's account diverge, before the examination starts.
Medrecords AI returns a dated chronology with a page citation on every line, so the examiner reads the record rather than a summary of it. The opinion and the signature stay with the physician.

Rows that carried no public link were looked up in NPPES, the national provider registry CMS publishes. A row was only given the number when exactly 1 provider of that name was registered in that state and the work they registered to do fits this list, so a planner who shares a name with a chiropractor in the same state keeps no number at all. 3,676 of 8,012 listings now carry one, and the link on those rows opens the government record. NPPES publishes a telephone number on every record; it is not read here.
