Export your work from Medrecords AI
Medrecords AI lets you download the chronology, a custom export, reports, the narrative and more. Most downloads start from the Export button at the top of a finished case. A custom export lets you pick what goes in, how it is grouped and which dates it covers. Exports are free and cost no credits.

Build a custom export
- Press Export, then Configure export….
- Pick the export type: Chronological Records or Medical Abstract.
- Under Content, tick the parts you want.
- Under Fields, pick the details to show.
- Under Organize, pick how to group documents and entries.
- Under Date range, pick all dates, from the key date, or a custom range. Tick Include undated records if you want them.
- Press Generate export.
The export builds in the background. When it is done, press Open Volume 1, or Download Word File for a Word abstract.
If you have filters on in the chronology, the export uses them. Press Export everything instead to include all records.
### What can go in
For Chronological Records:
- A cover page with your brand name and logo (PNG or JPEG, up to 2 MB)
- Documents Index and Chronologies Index
- Chronological narrative
- Document summaries
- Chronologies
- Source pages
For Medical Abstract: an index and the cited source pages. This is the only export you can save as Word. Everything else is PDF.
Very large cases are split into volumes. Page numbers keep counting across volumes.
Other downloads
- Reports. Open the report in Report Studio and press Download PDF or Download DOCX. See create a report.
- Narrative. Press the download icon on the narrative tab. It saves a PDF. See edit the narrative.
- Billing ledger. Press Export CSV on the Billing Ledger tab. It always includes every line, whatever filters you have on.
- Case cost. On the Overview, press Details next to the cost, then Download PDF. The cost shows only if it is turned on in Settings.

- Each person needs their own account. To share work with a colleague, send them the file.
